E-Book Marketing Toolkit

The E-Book Marketing Toolkit includes:

  • A checklist of promotional activities, from access systems to social media to print marketing campaigns. Download the list and customize it to meet local needs!
  • Sample emails to faculty and students alerting them to the acquisition of a new resource.
  • Sample Digital Rights Management (DRM) information, laid out to easily and accurately communicate how a resource may be used. This simple grid is appropriate for sharing with both librarians and faculty.

The Office of Library Services' E-Book Marketing Toolkit stems from a workshop held at John Jay College on September 13, 2011. The toolkit was created by Nancy Egan (JJ), Beth Evans (BC), Maria Kiriakova (JJ), and Angela Sidman (formerly of OLS).
