Charge:
- Evaluate capabilities of CUNY’s library services platform, Alma, to analyze usage of resources and CUNY-wide collections to inform coordinated collection analysis and development.
- Develop and recommend best practices for Alma’s analytics and reporting functionality.
- Assess the need for support and training to ensure the application of best practices and effective use of available analytics.
- Collaborate with the Alma Training WG and functional committees to develop and implement training to meet those needs.
- Develop best practices for creating/capturing data for historical analysis.
- Cultivate a CUNY culture of collaborative learning about how to facilitate best analytics practices by several campus librarians.
- Collaboratively create reports, custom and canned, for the libraries in order to efficiently use central staff resources and eliminate duplication of efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain workflows for report creation and requests
- Provide training and support
- Coordinate with other CUNY library committees on their reporting needs
- Create/edit/review documentation
