There are two types of Primo APIs available for your use:
- Deep Search
- Web Services
- X-Services: Basically like REST APIs; responses in XML
- SOAP: Standard XML based protocol for accessing Web Services
- REST: Will hold all previous APIs in the standard REST protocol (this will be done in the coming future)

Access to these APIs is restricted to CUNY IP addresses only. Please make sure OLS has your correct and up-to-date IP information.
Institution codes and view codes referred to in the API documentation refer to your OWN codes. (Institution codes are CAPITALIZED while view codes are expressed in lowercase letters.)
